My interests and background
My background is in nutrition and I am passionate about organic food.
I worked at Planet Ayurveda for 5.5 years, which is an ayurvedic center in
Auckland that offers a variety of ayurvedic treatments and ayurvedic consultations.
The center is run by Dr Ajit Australasia's most experienced Ayurvedic Doctor. While working
in the ayurvedic clinic I became aware of the connection between body and mind and decided to further my knowledge and train as a counsellor.
Women's Well-Being was founded 2014. I am passionate about supporting women on their path to well-being because I believe a balanced woman will positively influence her surroundings.
The basis of my work is the understanding that the body and mind are interconnected and that what we eat, do and think influences us. I have a holistic view of health through my understanding of ayurveda and counselling.
In this work I offer:
Therapeutic ayurvedic marma/vital point massage
Counsellor, BASS Counselling (Bachelor of Applied Social Service (Counselling),
Diploma Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation
Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (MNZAC)
